"Bedtime Stories: odd tongues for oddkin" extends the experimental and collaborative ethos of Incubator 4 Anothertime (2023-25), exploring non-linear narratives, participatory making, and speculative kinship (human and more than human) through language, decay, and reassembled texts, (2025-ongoing).
Bedtime Stories: Using fridge-magnet poetry, collage, diaristic fragments, and workshops, participants are invited to compose, de-compose, and reassemble language around care, family, grief, and belonging—embracing the poetics of ruin, decay, and impermanence.
Developed in collaboration with Dr. Lizzie Reed (University of Southampton), the project has received support from University of Southampton’s Sociology’s department, enabling workshops, process documentation, and the creation of an artist publication (due 2026).
Rooted in queer, decolonial, and posthuman thought, the work foregrounds shared authorship, tender gestures, and speculative forms of relation as sites of connection, transformation, and resistance.
